More Support over the years:
CTO has given to many organizations and individuals over the last 8 years. Please have a look at what we have supported and how we continue to hope to make a difference!
Gabriel's House
Kids at Gabriel's House
CTO has been working to provide for the many needs in our community, from supporting the victims of the Borderline shooting tragedy, assisting families after the Woolsey and Hill fires, and assisting in the COVID pandemic relief efforts, in addition to providing for teens and families like we have in the past. The benefit of CTO is that we are able to move quickly in responding to the needs as they arise.
Please read about some of the nonprofit organizations we have supported:
Harbor House where we provided money so that the homeless seniors could be housed in hotels. We also provided lunches during the COVID pandemic for the homeless and children that are normally receiving lunch in the school program. Harbor House Thousand Oaks - Home (harborhouseto.org)
Gabriel's House, A Place of Hope where CTO gave a recent donation to help end the cycle of homelessness by encouraging, equipping and empowering women and children that reside at Gabriel's House.
Gabriel's House Oxnard – A Place of Hope (gabriels-house.org)

We are always asking "how can we help?"
CTO donated to many different efforts after the Woolsey Fire and the Borderline shooting.
Since 2018, CTO has donated to the local Easter basket effort. "Bunny helpers" have donated to six different charities in the Conejo Valley area.
SAFE PASSAGE YOUTH
Safe Passage Youth was named a State of California Nonprofit of the Year in 2023. Safe Passage strives to steer children away from risky behavior and possible gang affiliation by providing early intervention, such as mentoring, homework and tutoring hours, field trips and positive role modeling. CTO donated money in December 2021 for the purchase of coats for kids living in the Thousand Oaks community. Some of the kids enjoyed the snow for the first time! SAFE PASSAGE YOUTH FOUNDATION
Ventura COunty Family Justice Center
Ventura County Family Justice Center is a local nonprofit that assists those impacted by family violence and trauma. VCFJC is a collaborative team from more than 40 public agencies and community-based organizations and volunteers dedicated to working together to help reduce trauma, eliminate repeat victimization, mitigate future risks, and make a lasting, positive difference in the lives of those we serve and their families. Through our welcoming community and comprehensive, holistic services that focus on the whole person, Ventura County FJC empowers and supports survivors of all ages and their families.
CTO is proud to have supported Camp HOPE!
Camp HOPE America is the first evidence-based camping and mentoring program for children exposed to trauma in the United States. The goal is to give children and teens their childhood back and help them find a Pathway to HOPE. The vision is to break the generational cycle of family violence by offering healing and hope to children and adults who have witnessed and been impacted by family violence. CTO also donated to a "Campership Program" which will provide sponsorships for campers.

HUNGRY GOATS
A group of clever Oak Park high school students started an effort to raise money for 'targeted grazing' by happy and hungry goats. After the devastation of the Woolsey fire in the Agoura and surrounding areas, the fire and fuel management by goat herds has proven an effective way of managing potential fire kindle with minimal damage to surrounding grass and soil. CTO was happy to support the fundraising efforts of the high schoolers.
COVID
Global Pandemic: In March 2020, COVID-19 emerged in almost all communities in the world, causing a worldwide pandemic. The mandated changes to help stop the spread of the virus have proven to be a phenomenal disruption to daily life as we know it. Most importantly, the crisis magnified the needs of the poor and disadvantaged in our community. All of the area nonprofits working with the homeless, food insecure, at-risk youth, veterans, and working poor have increased demand for assistance. CTO has partnered with many of the nonprofits to provide food, medical supplies and care, basic housing, educational materials and much needed psychological support.
In addition, CTO has donated to:
-Lutheran Social Services
-Thousand Oaks Teen Center
-Casa Pacifica
-Westlake High School Soccer
-oak park high school
